Outlook 2007: There is no email program associated to perform the requested action

Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit
Program: Outlook 2007

Error:
“There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel.”

Solution:
Go to Control Panel, All Control Panel Items, Default Programs.
Select Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
Look for extension .pst
Double Click – Open With. Browse.  Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 in program files x86. Done!
