Blog Products
Q: What’s the turnaround time on each of these products?
A:  48 hours for installation and configuration.  We sometimes have to wait a bit longer for customers to get their site copy / page images / logos, etc to us.  Providing there’s no wait time from the customer; 48 hours, on both products.

Q:  Do I have to deal with domain registration and setup?
A:  No, we’ll handle all of that for you.

Q:  What if I already have my own domain registered?
A:  No problem.  We’ll just need to get into whatever service you used to register the domain, and we’ll repoint it to our servers.

Q:  What if I already have my own domain AND I already have my own hosting account?
A:  No problem, but in order to qualify for the $399 price, you’ll have to host with us.  Otherwise, the starter blog is $499.  The Full-Service Blog price is always $999, regardless of hosting.

Q:  Which Blog product is right for me?
A:  The starter blog is great for individuals, and self-employed professionals who need a web presence, a place to capture email addresses, and a place to talk about their trade online.

The Full-Service Blog is perfect for small businesses who need a place for customers to find them online, who need Social Media integration and a way to track customer statistics.  This package is geared more towards individuals and small businesses who are ready to engage in some level of marketing strategy.

Q:  Do I have to call Make It Work, or a web developer every time I need to make a change to my blog?
A:  No!  We build using the WordPress CMS framework.  CMS stands for Content Management System, and a CMS enables a site owner to change their own page content, including text, images, video files and artwork.

Q:  Does Make It Work support what you sell?
A:  Absolutely.  We are available for support and training, and can help you upgrade and update in the future as you outgrow your blog site.

Q:  I need help with online marketing for my blog site.  Do you do that?
A:  But of course we do!

Q:  Do I get an email address with my site?
A:  Yes, you can have up to 10 email addresses on your blog’s domain.

Q:  Do I get my own server access?
A:  No.  At this time, we’re not offering full-access server products, though we may move that way in the future.

Q:  Do you backup my site?
A:  Yes.  We provide monthly site file and database backups.  We can also post your backup files online for you to download for your own archives.

Marketing Plans
Q: Who are these online marketing programs for?
A:  Someone who has a website, or a blog, has a product or service to sell, or information they want to get in front of a large, targeted audience.

Q: Wow, Twitter! Facebook! Digg! Mailchimp! I don’t even understand what any of this means!  I just know my business, and I know how to talk about my business.
A:  That’s okay, we do understand what all of this means, and all you need to do is talk about your business, and we’ll get that conversation out in front of people who are ready to hear what you have to say.  Nobody knows your business better than you do, and your customers need to hear just how much of an expert you are.

Q: How long should I remain subscribed to one of these marketing plans?
A:  That depends on the desired results.  We recommend a 3-month strategy, which enables us to build a system which the customer can then step in and manage on their own, should they choose to.  Many customers keep the program going indefinitely, as the results increase.

Q:  How much content do I need to create?
A:  The more original content we have, the more effective any campaign will be.  We understand that small business owners are very busy running their own businesses, however.  1 original blog post per month is required, and we can supplement articles written by others.

Q:  Which plan is right for me?
A:  The Splash plan is perfect for self-employed individuals and freelancers who use their blog as a resumé site, or an information site which can be used to send prospects to.  This plan is designed to create a buzz around a person or a service and broadcast information to a targeted following.

The Swan Dive is designed for small businesses and entrepreneurs who have a product or a service to sell.  This plan focuses on creating an interactive conversation between business and customers, while broadcasting useful and interesting information to prospects.  Benefits include increased search engine traffic, while creating a library of great information on your site for customers and prospects to consume.

The Cannonball plan is for small businesses who are ready to grow to their next level.  This plan focuses on broadcasting exciting content to new and existing client base, while monitoring what people are saying and doing about the brand/service/product.  Benefits include increased search engine traffic, a library of great information for visitors, with a focus on highlighting an extraordinary customer service image.

Q:  What’s the difference between “Broadcasting” and “Interactive?”
A:  Broadcasting is when you push information out into the world.  Interactive is when we push information into the world which encourages some sort of response from the customer or prospect.  Our Swan Dive and Cannonball plans are designed to be Interactive.  The Splash plan is basically Broadcast only.

Q:  Why is there such a large price difference between the three marketing plans?
A:  It boils down to labor hours.  A highly interactive strategy requires more labor hours per month than a broadcast-only strategy.

Q:  Which is more effective, over time?
A:  Interactive strategies product much bigger results over time than Broadcast-only strategies do.

Q:  What exactly does each of these programs consist of?  What is the recipe for each of these plans?
A:  We’d be happy to teach you how we do what we do, but you’ll need to enroll in our OSN 101 Seminar for $999, which covers each component of our Internet Strategy Programs, Internet best practices, and pitfalls to avoid.
